Earthquake rocks San Francisco

My family was in the middle of this one. Simon, Zachary, Kim and I all have our own personal earthquake story. I was at the Presido in San Francisco with Kim and Zachary. It was opeing day for a brand new commissary. I was at the rear of the store by the meat section when the building began to tremble. Jars began to crash to the floor and burst. The floor felt like it was waving like standing on a rocking ship. The lights went off and the emergency lights went on. The three of us scampered from the store without our purchase and immediately crossed the Golden Gate Bridge back to our home at Fort Baker. The bridge wasn't backed up yet and we easily got across. Once home, I turned on my battery powered TV and watched the news. Simon was already home. He said that he was in a car, a passenger to a basketball game. The driver thought that he had a flat tire and pulled over.

We went down to the bunker area and looked over at San Francisco. We could see buildings in the marina area burning (BELOW).
