Columbia Space Shuttle is lost on re-entry

I am writing this on February first. I woke up this morning and turned on the radio about 7:15. None of the usual sounds or songs were on the air. After a few moments of discussion, I realized that something disasterous had happened. Was it terrorism? Doubt it. Was it lost ceramic heat shields? Maybe.
