"wean myself from campus?" how much farther can I get from campus???! I mean I haven't seen my friends in 6 months and they (mostly) are graduating... I guess I was just expecting to work for the entire summer at a school in palo alto and be at Stanford. I'm really excited about my Holocaust paper. I am going to write it on how it is portrayed on the Web... I think that no one has really done a scholarly approach to it and I could really do some good work. I also came across some helpful pages on genealogical help... I am going to check the Auschwitz register for any Formanskis but they only have 80,000 of the over 1 million killed there (only those selected to work and who died in the camps (because the records come from death certificates))check out the site:www.man.poznan.pl/~bielecki/genpolen.htm. anyway, see you in a week! |
