I grew up in the Svensen Friends Church in Svensen, Oregon. Your Father John, was a spiritual mentor to me and led me into the baptism of the Holy Spirit at a FGBFI meeting in Longview featuring Mel Tari as speaker. My life of miracles began that night. He was both a teacher and a role model for me. I attended the home prayer and Bible study meetings in Longview ( remember, this is a distance of 70 miles or so ) and saw every kind of miracle you can describe. Not only did I watch as John prayed for people's legs to be lengthened and see people's legs grow before my very eyes, but John prayed for me and then I prayed for others when I got home to Svensen, and their legs were healed as well ! Later, I moved out of the area and lost touch with your father. When I heard that he died I was devastated. I couldn't believe that a man who had healed hundreds to thousands of people and raised a man from the dead could ever die. I loved your father and so did large numbers of Christians all across the Northwest that you might never have a chance to meet. He had a spiritual influence of at least a 130 mile radius and was instrumental in planting seeds that others harvested. People have benefited from his ministry who have never heard of him. They may not realize that their dynamic pastor was inspired by John and his ministry. Their are many powerful christian workers today who owe a debt of thanks to your father. Each life they touch is an extension of your father's ministry.
