E-MAIL #11 ~ 7/6/07Sorry I haven't written lately but it's just that I'm home, and not much has happened. I go to the hospital once a week so they can draw blood and send it down to MD Anderson. In the mean time I'm just tired and sort of run down all the time, although as the time gets farther and farther from my last Chemo treatment the better I feel. I'll feel really good the day before they start pumping in the poison again. The action begins again on July 16th, I'll go down to Houston for another week of Chemo. My Brother Frank will arrive on the 18th and spend about 10 days with me, at which time they will take Blood from him over a three day period and put it away for My Bone Marrow transplant which will take place in the middle of August. Everyone in my family has been absolutely committed to help me in anyway they could. What a blessing ! The transplant is the next big deal, its a three month process, and I aint looking forward to it. But its the only way I know to get back to running appointments next year, which I plan on doing. Matt and all you guys at Puritan have been so good to me, I need to get back to work and try to pay things back. I couldn't ask for better friends.Bless you all, Jack |
