E-MAIL #14 ~ 8/17/07Dear Family and Friends,Sorry I haven’t written for a while, but the only way I can get on line is the Hot spot here in the Hospital and it’s really weak. Half the time I write a letter, it disappears before I can send it.Well yesterday the 16th of August was quite a day in the Foreman Family. I was Blessed with a new Grandson, Vance Foreman who was born to my Son Patrick and his wife Amy at 1:30PM, while I was at the same time just finishing my Bone Marrow Transplant. I got some pictures of Vance today and Vance and I are doing very well, Thank you. What a Blessing!!!So far I have had no side effects from the Chemo or Bone Marrow Transplant. My only worry is that I’m going to get to fat lying around this Hospital. I’m hooked up to a Christmas tree with 5 bags of chemicals going into the catheter in my chest, but there is no pain and I’m feeling great. I’ve got 3 more weeks in the hospital then 2 months in an apartment. If all goes as it has so far, boredom will be the biggest problem, (Matt, I need to go to Work). Thanks for all your Prayers and good wishes, Jack |
