Our move to California was complicated. (1) Kim had to spend a little bit more time at the University of Wisconsin to earn her PdD. (2) I had some vacation time coming and (3) we had two cars to move west.
In June, I pretty much drove the Chevy Sprint non-stop from Wisconsin to Longview. Kim stayed behind. Zachary and Peter (he didn't return to "Simon" until California) accompanied me along with their cousin Josh. Z & P spent a month with their Auntie Eileen. I drove down to Fort Baker. I was there by myself until August. Kim drove the Pontiac to Longview by herself, stayed with her family for a little while, and then joined me at Fort Baker.
