The way back home


It is us three again as we head home
Rather than take the same route home, I chose to take the Cassier Highway.
Parts of this road were Gravel.



We stayed overnight in Hyder. This was in the USA, but seemed much more Canadian.



I stopped at this ice lake and placed a very large chunk of ice in my ice chest.

When we finally arrived in Longview, I remember that I put the remnant of the ice chunk in my mom's freezer. The next day, I put the ice cube in my glass of cola. As I crunched the ice with my teeth, I regretted that this great adventure to Alaska was so soon over.
