I began this trek on Tuesday morning after our Pastors breakfast at church. Everything was packed and the Westy was ready. I returned to the condo and headed out. But my first stop was at Kim's gravesite. The granite stone was not it place yet, so that was disappointing.
I left about noon and traveled down I5, then cut over to 99, taking lots of breaks along the way. This was a road trip, with the journey being more important than the destination. Jody and I pulled into Red Rock Canyon State Park about 6PM.
One night at the state park cost $20. There were a few other folks, but the place was not crowded. The night was a bit cold.
