Day 5 / Saturday, May 7 in LubbockWe left Oasis State Park about 8am and headed for Texas.
Our CASA meeting was at noon on Saturday -- but there was an hour time change that caught me by surprise.
I met Tabitha at her church about 11:30. Cody showed about 12:30.
we held our board meeting with three of us at Five Stones, Frank and Debi in Vancouver, and Simon in NYC.
Cody and Deborah took me out to eat on Saturday eveing at a steakhouse. I got to sit on the birthday saddle!
 
Day 6 / Sunday, May 8 in LubbockOn Sunday, I preached at Five Stones. Tab's dad is pastor of this church, but he was was away.
This boy named Joshua looked after Jody during the service.

On Sunday evening, I ate Mexican with a couple from Five Stones
and with Tabitha and her boyfriend named Kurt.
Sunday was Mothers Day. Zachary and Simon sent flowers to their mom's gravesite

Day 7 / Monday, May 9 in Lubbock
On Monday, I rested and spent most of the day in the hotel.
In the evening, Cody drove me around Lubbock showing me the town.
 
The hotel was next to a plow pond -- where Jody and I took some walks.
There is a drought in this part of Texas and the shore of the pond was nasty --
that meant that Jody liked to roll in stuff.
