Come & See Africa International is a registered non-profit charity based in Hayward, California. We sponsor short term mission trips to Rwanda and East Africa.
CASA benefits students at the National University of Rwanda and the local community in Butare, Rwanda, providing them with a wide spectrum of Christian and social services.
Why "Come and See Africa"? In the Gospel of John – chapter 4, the woman at the well shouts to her village: “Come and see the man. Is not this the Christ”? We echo her words. Come to Africa and see for yourself. The challenge is beyond description and the experience beyond words.

Our VisionOur vision is to see the people of Africa living joyful, prosperous, and godly lives. The focus of our vision is upon students at the National University of Rwanda – ministering to them by word and by action, living out the Great Commandment of God’s love, and fulfilling the Great Commission to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We are committed to raising up a new generation of leaders in Africa. Our wider vision includes outreach to the entire university community meeting academic, spiritual, social, and material needs.

Our Mission
Come & See Africa is a ministry that accompanies Christian volunteers from America to the city of Butare, Rwanda, for a "structured missionary experience". Visitors stay at the Lighthouse, a newly built struction just 200 steps from the university. They visit orphanages, hospitals, churches, and other organizations that help the needy in Rwanda. Visitors will learn about the rich culture in Rwanda.
They also have the opportunity to teach seminars and provide training in areas of their expertise. Our intention is to introduce Americans to the need in Africa and encourage them to respond to this need after they return home.
