Discipleship Training
~ Day Eight: Law and Grace ~

Discipleship itself will not change us. The disciplines only put us in the place where change can occur. Transformation in becoming Christ-like is through the working of the Holy Spirit as were are obedient in the disciplines, and in fellowship with Christ. The three inner disciplines are the areas of our discipleship that help us to know God and fellowship with Him. They relate to our inner being - our thoughts, our attitudes and our responses to God. The three outer disciplines show us how to relate to Christians, and others, and how to use the resources that God has entrusted to us while on earth. These horizontal disciplines are an overflow of the vertical disciplines being present in or lives.God must me preeminent in our lives.

We must always keep in mind that we are not saved by our deeds (Works of the Law) but by the Grace of God though Faith in Christ.
