A month or so after Kim and I arrived in America, the Longview newspaper called and wanted to interview us about our experience. We obliged. The interviewer was a young woman who was rather rude. She wanted to learn all the dreadful things about our experience. 
We were not happy with the way the story turned out. Some former GI called me really angry because I mentioned that Korean women are mistreated by Koreans when they marry an American because they are treated like prostitutes. The man and and wife visited our house and things turned out OK.
Don't make Kim angry!!
