I could even guide her around the sites of Krakow. Yeah! A Stanford man! Tell them to look for the non-polish looking guy in the Stanford hat. Can I email them directly? Will they be sending/receiving mail in Prague? what institute is he lecturing at? If it is Jagielonian then they might be staying in the same building as we are housed in. (the professor guest house is in the same building as our classes). Tell me what you packed so that I can buy the rest here. I am going to check out a flea market this weekend. nothing is crucial. I can take them out to dinner (I'll even pay! It's weird that you can buy a filling delicious dinner for yourself using one coin!). And when you come, I want you to taste zurek z kielbaskiem. It is BOSH. It's weird that no one here calls it that. Where did you learn it from? Anyway, I still need to write anut Jeanne so that I can find my roots. I told you the big news about buying a jacket and shirts. yay! I just had a dinner of bean salad, cucumber salad and crepes, delicious. Anyway, I hope mom is more calmed down. I was thinking about the boot thing. Could you buy a pair for yourself and then when you come in December, let me borrow them again? That way I can replace yours. And about coming, don't worry about bringing too much. They have everything here. It just takes a while to find it. Anyway, I'll check the train schedules for incoming trains from Prague on Tuesday. Oh yeah, I know I'm pushing it but a new edition of the Economist, or Men's Health or just the comics would be good. Everything here is in polish. Oh!! Important!! did you hear anything from the Foreign Service exam people. They should have sent some sort of acknowledgement. Anyway, I'm sending this off and will be around for about another hour, i think. Thank you so much again. Zach |
