Princess Diana dies |  I was never a big fan of Princess Diana. The pomp of a privledged class disquiets my democratic heart. I remember the big deal of the marriage and the constant tabloid press about kids, strife and divorce. It was unusual that the most celebrated person in the world should die in such a manner.
Even more unusual is the proximity of Mother Teresa's death. Diana's celebrated status gave her a platform to help the needy, while Teresa's help of the needy gave her a celebrated status.
