I talked with Pat on the phone yesterday and this is Jack's update. Jack started on the new medication called anti-thymocyte globulin or (ATG) on Monday. He was given large doses of Benedryl for the first two days to allow him to tolerate it. So on those days he was pretty out of it.

Barb was driven down to Houston on Wednesday and will stay until Sunday. She says that Jack is doing quite well. She will stay til Sunday. Her eye is slowly improving. Pat talked to Jack on Wednesday and encourages our calls, emails, letters, cards, and packages.

Pat reports that Jack is eating a little bit everyday. It is still quite painful, but there seems to be less bleeding in the stools. Jack likes having you pray with him and for him. So please do so.
