When I went to Germany in the summer of 1967, Big Jim Walker lent me his fancy SLR camera. It was then I took my first series of slides. A few months later I bought my own smaller camera and began to take more slides. A few hundred of them included my girlfriend a the time, Arlene. After she dumped me, I dumped her slides. There are a lot of slides from 1968 through the Ball State years to 1972. I bought a new Olympus camera in Korea and of course took lots of slides of the Peace Corps and newly married years. Just after Zachary was born, I bought a Canon SLR camera for $300! For the next 20 years all my slides were from that camera.

I took hundreds of pictures of Kim, Zachary, and Simon Peter, most of them from Longview, Fort Leonard Wood, and Eugene. After I bought my video camera in 1984, I became a videographer more than a photographer. I remember in the 1990s snapping my last slides. A few pieces dropped from my camera. New technolgy was making my SLR old. ~ I also bought a carousel projector along the way and filled 42 boxes with slides, each with a capacity of a hundred. Here are the 42 boxes of slides with 3894 images. Please have grace. Some are good, some are bad, and many are fuzzy
