God revealed Himself to Moses as the “I THAT I AM”. He chose Moses to lead his people out of bondage and into the Promised Land. God preformed great miracles by the hand of Moses like sending plagues upon Egypt and parting the waters of the Red Sea. While wandering the wilderness, Moses received God’s own law written by His own finger. Moses presented God’s Ten Commandments to the children of Israel. “Hear O Israel, the LORD your God is one. And you shall love the LORD with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength”. The law that God gave Moses was able to show people about their own sin, but it was not able to save them form their sin. “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ”.
